VACANCIES

Curator - Technology

We are currently looking for a Curator – Technology in the Curatorial Research team, within MOTAT’s Collections Hub. This role will be responsible for assessing acquisition offers and producing research and accurate content about MOTAT’s technology collection items/taonga.

Lead Educator – STEAM Cell

We are looking for a Educator with a business strategy mindset to manage the MOTAT’s STEAM Cell educational service delivering and growing the education programmes in schools, offering interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Visitor Research Advisor

Join MOTAT part time as our Visitor Research Advisor to lead annual research programs and provide actionable insights to improve visitor experiences. Work closely with the Digital Engagement Producer to enhance data analysis and support key reports to focus on a child and whānau-centered approach, as families are MOTAT’s primary audience.

Oriel Bickerton Internship

The MOTAT Society and Walsh Memorial Library is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Student or recent Graduate to complete an internship. The internship is dedicated to Oriel Bickerton who was a prominent figure in the Victorian Village and the Textile collection in the early days of MOTAT. She dedicated over 25 years of her life to MOTAT and paved the way for MOTAT Team Members in collection care.
