MOTAT ACT 2000
The Museum of Transport and Technology Act 2000 came into effect on 1 April 2000 and was amended in November 2010 as a result of the Local Government (Auckland Transitional Provisions) Act 2010.
We believe we must preserve our natural environment for future generations, and this starts with taking action in our own workplace.
Sustainability is a core value for MOTAT and an important part of our master strategy and annual planning. Being sustainable with how we operate goes hand in hand with our commitment to looking after our community.
MOTAT is community and environmentally focused. We seek to increase the cultural, economic, and social wellbeing of Tāmaki Makaurau and Aotearoa through our actions and collection.
