These hands-on programmes will encourage your students to think about the processes of invention and innovation and how technology changes over time. From early learners through to budding innovators, everyone will find something to inspire them.

Be inspired by the nature of innovation and how technology drives change. Learners will explore through hands-on engagement with a range of inventions and innovations. From early Māori inventions to cell phones, this session will highlight the great minds of Aotearoa New Zealand and inventions that have changed the world.

Toys are an important part of childhood. This workshop encourages students to compare toys of the past with what is available today and investigate the mechanics behind toys without batteries, helping students to discover how technology has transformed the way we play.
