Blacksmith's Forge
Experience the thrill of seeing the blacksmith at work in MOTAT's Historic Village.
Feel the heat of the fire and the clang of the hammer striking molten metal as the MOTAT blacksmith brings life to the forge. Using traditional tools and methods the blacksmith creates useful and beautiful objects, including some of the parts we need to maintain the heritage collection, as well as keeping the horses shod.
The forge is operational on LIVE Days, and may operate some other Sunday's too subject to Blacksmith availability .
