MOTAT has lots of inspirational indoor and outdoor spaces to explore across both locations. From our award-winning Aviation Hall at Motions Road, to even more exhibitions and activities at our Great North Road location, MOTAT has something for everyone. Travel between these two locations aboard one of our heritage trams, which also stop at Western Springs Park and Auckland Zoo. Tram rides are free for everyone. See here for the timetable.

Please note: A planned shutdown of the Western Springs Tramway is scheduled for 11-15 August. This is so that overhead wires at the passing loop on Motions Road can be properly remediated following the recent tramway upgrade works. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
