MOTAT's Hōtaka Uru Hapori Community Access Programme aims to enhance the wellbeing of communities by enabling a breadth of groups from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland to visit MOTAT.
This community initiative provides free general admission to MOTAT for selected community groups.
The aim of the programme is to increase access for groups who don’t usually get the chance to visit MOTAT and acknowledges that the cost of admission to MOTAT can be a significant barrier for some of our city’s population.
Māori and Pacific community groups based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, particularly those working with children, young people and elders, will be given priority.
Priority will also be given to groups for who general admission fees are a key barrier to their group engaging with the social and learning experiences that MOTAT offers.
Now taking applications for July-October 2025
We are delighted to have received a grant from One Foundation to support our programme. We are now taking applications for visits between July and October 2025.
