VISIT TODAY

Make Music is a exciting hands-on exhibition full of surprising ways to explore the science and technology behind sound and music.

Created as a touring exhibition by the Mobiles Musik Museum in Düsseldorf, Germany by Michael Bradke, Make Music has been touring the world for 30 years but this is the first time it has been in the Southern Hemisphere.

Come and experiment with different ways to make sound, discover unusual instruments and make some noise. Find out how sound works, why it moves us, and what makes it so special.

Can a jandal make a melody? Have a go on the slam organ and see what sounds you can create. Listen to your voice through different microphones and learn how distortion, echo and reverb work. Hear the difference between wood, glass and stone and make a tune with the whānau.

Included in General Admission.
