Get ready to play like never before!

At MOTAT, we believe play is powerful. It fuels curiosity, joy and connection for all ages — and Sports Tech is your chance to experience that first-hand. These exciting technologies aren't just for professional athletes — they're for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned sports fan or just starting out, there's something here for every age, ability, and fitness level. Come along, have a go and discover how good moving can feel!

Take part in a range of mixed reality sports and multisensory experiences, and learn about the science of the human body — how it works and what it needs to stay happy and healthy. Our experts in exercise science and physiology will be on hand to guide you through activities that bring together technology, games, traditional sports, and science in a way that's fun for everyone.

The team at NZ Esports will be joining us with a variety of activities, including their new official E Blacks esports car and interactive games. Dance and move your way through half-hour Zumba classes running throughout the day, test your reaction speed against your mates with the Ricoh Blaze Pod Challenge, and burn some energy at the Multiball wall — a great mix of digital interaction and physical activity.

Enjoy entertainment, food and drink and plenty of sporty fun for the whole whānau.

Please note: filming and/or photography may take place throughout the event for use in paid advertising and on social media.

MOTAT are proud to support Techweek2026.
