When was the last time you looked up at the sky on a clear, dark night? Beyond the city lights, the night sky is a wonder to behold — captivating and inspiring our imagination.

Uncover the mysteries of the night sky and what it holds this July at MOTAT with Tūhura Tuarangi - Aotearoa in Space.

Tūhura Tuarangi is a hands-on experience showcasing the world of space technologies and world-leading research going on right here in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Full of fun and facts for the whole whānau, play, build, launch, and explore the origins of our night sky, the connections between the earth and space, and the technology that allows us to explore gasses, space junk, and meteorites.

Let's celebrate Kiwi-based innovations in space and highlight the pathways and careers available in this space-faring nation.
