LIVE DAY: 60 Years of MOTAT

Join us on October 20 as we celebrate six decades of MOTAT memories! We'll journey through the past, honour the present, and celebrate the next 60 years.

Both Great North Road and the Aviation Hall will be buzzing with action, entertainment, and special activities.

See the iconic Beam Engine and Pumphouse in action! Hop aboard all eight heritage trams, including our stunning double-decker "Big Ben" and Steam Tram No. 100.

The classic Trolleybus No.50 will be out on display, as well as our beautiful collection of steam locomotives - how many rides can you fit in?

Step back in time at the Walsh Memorial Library and dive into the 60 years of MOTAT exhibition. Do you have memories to share? We want to hear your wildest stories!

Dress in your best black-and-white duds for the LIVE DAY photobooth – there’s a prize for the snazziest look!
