Free Entry for Volunteers

National Volunteer Week 2023 shines a light on the wonderful people who generously donate their time and expertise to all kinds of different causes throughout Aotearoa.

MOTAT is supported by over 200 dedicated volunteers who work hard to preserve Auckland's transport and technology heritage, and we are grateful for their passion and service.

To celebrate Volunteer Week and to show our appreciation to volunteers everywhere, MOTAT is offering free general admission to all volunteers from 17 to 25 June 2023.

All you need to do is let us know where you volunteer - bring a confirmation letter of your role, your organisation identification, or some other proof of your act of service.

We recognise volunteering comes in all forms and welcome everyone who gifts their time to help out in their community.

Terms and Conditions:

*This offer is valid for a General Admission MOTAT Family Pass, which includes 2 adults and up to 4 children aged 5-15. Children under 5 are free. You can bring along with you any combination of people up to the maximum entitlement, but you must be part of the visiting group. Visiting hours 10am-4pm.
