MOTAT and Brain Play have teamed up to provide students with a unique opportunity to engage in a four week 3D design & printing course where paticipants will learn all parts of the 3D design process - creating digital concepts, preparing digital models for 3d printing, setting up 3d printers, and taking home your unique model at the end of our course.
Using computer aided design (CAD) software, participants will go through the process of creating a 3d printed battle bot, which we will pair with battery packs & motors at the end of the course, before battling in a mini arena with classmates!
During these workshops participants will learn about the design process - using maths & measurement + creating concepts / drafts, as well as CAD software, the 3d printing slicing process, and how 3d printers work in the classroom & out in the real world.
